Texense® is the range of products designed, manufactured, and distributed by Texys, who develop unique and patented technologies.
Specialists in contactless infrared temperature measurement, we can provide a tailored solution to suit any installation and level of emissivity. Our range covers single, multipoint, and wireless IR measurement all with class-leading accuracy and reliability.
Wireless Systems
Texense® has developed its own wireless communication protocol offering even more flexibility and security to customers using Texense® sensing technologies.
More recently, infrared temperature sensors have been developed integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, supplied exclusively to FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3 since 2020, illustrates our expertise in wireless communication. This system equips up to 52 cars during each race week-end, and provides tyre pressure measurement (detection of slow or fast tyre leaks) to inform the driver and race management. Texys has been appointed sole TPMS supplier for the FIA Formula E from 2023 to 2026.
Strain Gauging & Extensometry
Our strain gauge service is fully managed within our production facilities (in France and in the USA). We provide strain gauge service on our customers' components or sub-assembly for measurement of compression or traction loads and torque, using our proprietary, digitally controlled signal amplifier and its sequential thermal compensation / calibration cycle process.
A new 38V version of this signal amplifier has also been designed for aeronautical and aerospace applications. Specific products such as the Texense® WTS (Wireless Torque Sensor) illustrate our know-how on the complete application: strain gauge fitting (on steel or carbon shafts), radio transmission and signal conditioning.
Texys has achieved ISO9001 certification thanks to the implementation of numerous quality management principles, including strong customer focus, staff motivation and commitment, a process approach and continuous improvement.
